Description

Face Fresh built this glutathione cream as a day and night cream, so the same 23gm tube covers both ends of your routine. Used as a pigmentation removal cream, it works on sun marks, post-acne shadows and patchy tone rather than lightening your whole face at once.

Benefits

  • Works on marks, not on your natural tone: As a face cream for skin pigmentation, it fades what the sun and old spots left behind.
  • Layers under makeup without pilling: The texture is a light cream, not a balm, so foundation sits over it cleanly after two minutes.
  • Brightens dullness, not just spots: People reaching for an ultra glow skin cream want this — a fresher, more even surface in four to six weeks.
  • Enough actives to matter, gentle enough for daily use: Six brightening ingredients, so most people can use it twice a day without peeling.
  • One tube instead of three products: Choosing it as a cream for removing pigmentation saves layering a separate brightener, moisturiser and spot treatment.

Ingredients

The label is long, so here is what each of the working ingredients is actually doing.

Glutathione: The reason people search for a glutathione face cream. It is an antioxidant that slows melanin production, though topically it supports rather than leads.

Alpha arbutin: Does the heaviest lifting here. It blocks the enzyme that makes pigment, which is why a glutathione whitening cream rarely relies on glutathione alone.

Kojic acid dipalmitate: A stable, oil-soluble form of kojic acid. Slower than the raw acid but far less irritating, which matters in a cream you use daily.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3): Slows pigment moving up to the surface, and strengthens the barrier so the stronger actives sit better on the skin.

Ascorbyl glucoside: The stable vitamin C. If you wanted a glowing vitamin C skin cream, this is the gentle form — slow, but it will not oxidise.

Licorice extract: Calms the redness that often follows a dark mark. Useful on post-acne pigmentation, where the inflammation and the colour arrive together.

Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-8): A peptide aimed at expression lines, not pigment. It is the one ingredient here doing a different job to the rest.

Tea tree oil: A small amount, for its antibacterial effect on breakouts. Also the reason the cream has a faint medicinal note under the fragrance.

Worth reading up on how glutathione works on melanin before you judge any cream by that one name on the label.

How To Use

  1. Wash first. Any gentle cleanser works; the Fairness Face Wash is the matching one.
  2. Take a pea-sized amount for the whole face. More does not work faster — it sits on top and pills under makeup.
  3. Press it onto the marked areas first, then spread what is left outward across the rest of the face and neck.
  4. In the morning, follow with sunscreen. This step is not optional if you want the marks to stay faded.
  5. At night, use the same amount on clean skin. Nothing needs to go over it.
  6. Give it four to six weeks before you decide whether it is working.

FAQs

Does glutathione cream really lighten skin?

Topical glutathione can make skin look brighter and more even by slowing melanin production, but the research on creams is much thinner than on injections — and injections carry their own risks. What to expect from this tube is faded marks and a clearer surface, not a different natural skin colour.

What is the difference between day and night cream?

A day cream is usually built to sit well under makeup and protection; a night cream is built for repair while you sleep. This one is formulated for both, so the real difference is what goes over it: sunscreen in the morning, nothing at night.

How do you remove pigmentation from face permanently naturally at home?

You cannot, and anyone promising it is selling something. Pigment cells stay reactive for life, so marks come back with sun, hormones or inflammation. What does work at home is consistency — brightening cream daily, sunscreen every morning, no picking. It helps to understand what actually causes pigmentation before choosing a treatment. Deep or hormonal melasma needs a dermatologist, not a cream.

How long before I see a difference?

Most people notice dullness lifting in two to three weeks, and marks fading somewhere between six and twelve weeks. Older, deeper marks take longest. If nothing has changed after three months of daily use with sunscreen, the cause is probably deeper than any cream can reach.

Does it protect my skin from the sun?

No. It contains zinc oxide, titanium dioxide and octyl methoxycinnamate, but this cream has no tested SPF rating, so treat it as a treatment cream and wear a proper sunscreen over it. Without sunscreen, sun exposure undoes fading faster than the cream can build it.

Will it sting or purge?

It should not sting. There is no exfoliating acid in the formula, so there is no purging phase to sit through. Slight warmth in the first few days is normal on dry or thin skin. If it burns, itches or goes red, stop — and never use it on broken skin.

Who should skip this cream?

Read the list first. It contains fragrance, lanolin alcohol, methyl and propyl paraben, and tea tree oil, all common triggers for reactive skin. If any of those are a problem for you, this is not your cream. Patch test behind the ear for two nights either way.

Can I use it with a serum or ampoule?

Yes — serum first, cream on top. If you want more of the same active underneath it, the L-Glutathione Ampoule layers comfortably. What does not help is stacking a second strong brightener from another brand on the same night. That buys irritation, not speed.

Is 23gm enough?

A pea-sized amount twice a day gives roughly six to eight weeks on the face alone — about one honest cycle before results are fair to judge. If you are treating face and neck together, Face Fresh Fairness Cream in the 70gm jar lasts longer, and you can compare it against the rest of the cream range first.
